    Patna Accident Sparks Outrage, Vehicles Set Ablaze

    A road accident in Patna resulted in the death of a youth, leading to a mob setting fire to several vehicles. Ten vehicles, including two police vehicles and a passenger bus, were torched. The incident occurred on Friday morning near Zero Mile in the Agamkuan police station area. Police from five stations were present at the scene. Journalists were assaulted, and the traffic post was also set on fire. The incident led to a protest where the road was blocked, and the fire brigade vehicle was stopped.

    Three Foreigners Arrested for Robbing Passengers on Ural Airlines Flight

    Three foreign nationals, presumed to be Chinese citizens, were removed from a Ural Airlines flight to Istanbul after attempting to steal money from passengers. The incident occurred during boarding in Yekaterinburg. The victims discovered counterfeit money in place of their stolen cash. The flight attendants, along with passengers, apprehended the suspects and handed them over to law enforcement. The flight departed an hour later than scheduled.

    Passenger Arrested for Attempting to Open Emergency Exit Mid-Air on Kuala Lumpur-Kochi Flight

    A passenger, identified as Jamsheer Athanikkal, was arrested after attempting to open the emergency exit of a Batik Air flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kochi while it was in flight. The incident occurred between 9:30 pm and 11:05 pm while the aircraft was cruising towards Kochi. The passenger tried to force open the emergency exit, damaged its window panel, and threatened fellow passengers, endangering the safety of those on board. Cabin crew intervened and restrained the passenger, who was subsequently arrested upon the flight's arrival.

    A Chandigarh court has summoned Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri in connection with a cheating complaint linked to a Being Human jewellery showroom. The complaint was filed by Chandigarh businessman Arun Gupta, who alleged he invested nearly Rs 3 crore in 2018 to open an exclusive Being Human Jewellery franchise but suffered significant financial losses due to lack of inventory and logistics support. The matter is listed for hearing on October 5.

    Four Company Owners Plead Not Guilty to Making False Claims Under Career Development Programme 2.0

    Four company owners, including a woman, pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court here today to a total of 30 charges of making false claims under the Career Development Programme 2.0 to the Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) in 2024. The accused, Wong Joon Hong, 40, Goh Chee Wai, 43, Neoh Wooi Lee, 50, and another woman, Phua Ai Ling, 45, made the plea after the charges were read out to them by Judge Irwan Suainbon. Wooi Lee, who is also the owner of Golden One Stop Services, D One Solution, As You Wish Enterprise, and Century SS Solution Company, faced 21 charges, while Chee Wai, as the owner of Tojeda Enterprise Sdn Bhd, was charged with six charges. Meanwhile, Joon Hong, who was charged as the owner of J.H Food Court, faced two charges, and Ai Ling, as the owner of Great Solutions Management, had one charge for the same offence.

    Fatal Car Accident in Jhansi: Two Dead, Three Injured

    A high-speed Hyundai Creta car carrying five people lost control and crashed into a divider in the Poonch police station area of Jhansi district. The accident resulted in the deaths of two individuals, Aabaan Ahmed, son of Atiq Ahmed, and Sonu, son of Raza. Three others, Mohammad Zaid, Umar, and another person, sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at Medical College, Jhansi. The driver, Mohammad Zaid, reported experiencing a momentary blackout or dizziness before the accident. The post-mortem report of Aabaan revealed brain hemorrhage as the cause of death.
