Passenger Arrested for Attempting to Open Emergency Exit Mid-Air on Kuala Lumpur-Kochi Flight

A passenger, identified as Jamsheer Athanikkal, was arrested after attempting to open the emergency exit of a Batik Air flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kochi while it was in flight. The incident occurred between 9:30 pm and 11:05 pm while the aircraft was cruising towards Kochi. The passenger tried to force open the emergency exit, damaged its window panel, and threatened fellow passengers, endangering the safety of those on board. Cabin crew intervened and restrained the passenger, who was subsequently arrested upon the flight's arrival.
