Israel Revokes Dutch Diplomats' Status Over Settlement Ban
Israel has revoked the diplomatic status of Dutch diplomats in Ramallah in response to the Netherlands' ban on imports of products originating from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights. The Dutch diplomats have been given seven days to hand over their Israeli-issued diplomatic documents, after which their diplomatic privileges and immunities will expire. Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar stated that the Netherlands can continue representing its interests with the Palestinians from Palestinian Authority territory, rather than from Israeli territory.178 sourcesSee all sources
