Russians Bring Chickens to MFCs for Mandatory Registration
Starting September 1, Russians with more than 10 chickens, ducks, geese, or turkeys are required to register their poultry in the 'Horriot' system. Failure to comply may result in fines up to 1,000 rubles. Despite initial confusion, it's not necessary to bring the animals to MFCs; registration can be done through regional veterinary services.11 sourcesSee all sources
