KL Police Raid 9 Online Gambling Call Centers, Arrest 46 Foreigners
Kuala Lumpur police conducted a two-day operation, 'Dadu Khas', raiding nine online gambling call centers and arresting 46 foreigners. The suspects, mainly from China, South Korea, and the Philippines, admitted to organizing online gambling activities for 1 to 3 months, earning RM2,000 to RM3,500 monthly. Police seized cash, computers, mobile phones, and other equipment. The suspects face charges under the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953 and the Immigration Act 1959/63.
