Malaysia's Swimmers Fail to Qualify for Finals in Three Events at Asian Games
Malaysia's swimming contingent had a challenging start at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, failing to qualify for the finals in three events at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre. In the men's 100m freestyle, Arvin Shaun Singh Chahal and Lim Yin Chuen missed the cut, finishing 14th and 21st respectively. Khiew Hoe Yean also failed to qualify in the 100m butterfly, placing 18th. National record holder Tan Khai Xin finished 17th in the 200m individual medley.
