Russia Slashes 2026 Oil Output Forecast to 17-Year Low
Russia has cut its 2026 oil production forecast to 494.2 million tons (9.88 million bpd), a 17-year low, due to the Ukraine war, Reuters reports. The government also lowered 2026–29 production forecasts by 16–20 million tons from its May outlook.
