The building, operated by Rossotrudnitschestvo, includes exhibition rooms, a concert hall, and a cinema. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the institute was placed on the EU sanctions list, and the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating possible violations of the Foreign Trade and Payments Act.
