Suspect Arrested for Killing Police Officer on Marginal Tietê
A suspect has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the death of police officer Paulo Roberto de Lima Pereira, 44, who was shot during a robbery on Marginal Tietê in São Paulo on August 28. The suspect was taken to the Department of Criminal Investigations (Deic) to give a statement.

Moldova Admits Fault in Rape Case Investigation, Pays Compensation
Moldova has acknowledged, for the first time, its failure to properly investigate a rape case at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). The victim, represented by 'La Strada', will receive approximately 8,000 euros in compensation. The investigation into the rape accusation was delayed and suspended multiple times by the prosecutor's office.
