    Iran Recovers Body of Su-24 Pilot Majid Kazemi Shot Down in Qatar

    The Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) has announced the recovery of the body of Brigadier General Pilot Majid Kazemi, a pilot of one of the Su-24MK tactical bombers shot down by Qatar Emiri Air Force F-15QA Ababil fighter jets on March 2 while attempting to strike Al-Udeid AB. Kazemi's body will be returned to Iran within the next few hours. Iranian authorities are still working to determine the whereabouts of the other three Su-24MK pilots shot down during the incident.
