Lebanon Extradites Former Syrian General Adel Issa to Syria for Trial
Lebanon has decided to extradite former Syrian general Adel Issa to Syria for trial on charges of murder, torture, and inciting sectarian conflicts during Bashar al-Assad's reign. The decision was based on a Lebanese-Syrian judicial agreement signed in 1951.
