Russia, India to Sign Memorandum on Northern Sea Route Cooperation
Russia and India are set to sign an intergovernmental memorandum on cooperation in developing the Northern Sea Route (NSR) by the end of this year. The memorandum aims to facilitate transit shipments between the two countries via the Arctic route, with a target of moving up to 5 million tonnes of cargo annually.
