AI Agents Used in Global Bank Hacking Attempts
Hacking attempts using AI agents were made on major commercial banks, internet-only banks, and financial institutions across the globe. The attacks, discovered last week, targeted at least seven banks in South Korea, including KakaoBank, KBank, and TossBank. Hackers used a Chinese AI agent, Artex, to attempt server access and obtain sensitive data such as client and employee information.
