Denmark Allows Teachers to Use Physical Force Against Disruptive Students
Denmark's government has proposed a bill that would allow teachers to physically restrain or remove disruptive students from class in exceptional situations. The move comes in response to an increase in violence and disruption in schools. Teachers would only be allowed to use force if less harsh methods have not helped, and the intervention must be proportional and as brief as possible. The bill is currently pending in parliament for approval.30 sourcesSee all sources
