    Two women have filed a lawsuit against former Rep. Matt Gaetz, accusing him and two other men of engaging in a sex trafficking scheme while Gaetz was a sitting member of Congress. The lawsuit alleges that Gaetz, along with Joel Greenberg and Chris Dorworth, coordinated the recruitment, payments, drugs, and travel to obtain commercial sexual acts from young women. Gaetz has denied the allegations and plans to contest them in court.

    EU Court Rules Banks Must Temporarily Refund Fraud Victims

    The European Court of Justice has ruled that banks must initially refund victims of account fraud, even if they are accused of negligence. This applies to cases where customers lose money after entering their account details on fake websites. The ruling came after a woman lost around €700 in such an incident. While banks can later reclaim the money, they must first refund the victim.
