    Imran Khan's Sisters Detained Beyond Initial Period, Family Seeks Release

    Imran Khan's sisters, Dr. Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi, have been detained for over 30 days under Pakistan's Maintenance of Public Order law. Their family alleges that the authorities have not provided any new detention order or explanation for their continued imprisonment. The family has also accused the authorities of using legal mazes and terrorism charges to keep them jailed. The family has moved the Lahore High Court seeking their release.
