Chinese-Made Routers Found with Backdoor Affecting Over 100,000 Devices Worldwide
Cybersecurity firm VulnCheck discovered that more than 20 models of routers manufactured by Chinese company Zbtlink, sold under Zbtlink and Wiflyer brands, contain a backdoor named 'Endlessdoors'. This backdoor connects to specific IP addresses and Chinese domains every 35 seconds, potentially allowing attackers to control the router and access other devices on the same network. Estimates suggest at least 100,000 devices worldwide may be affected. Zbtlink has not responded to requests for comment.5 sourcesSee all sources
