Ukrainians' Preferred Currency for Bank Deposits
A survey reveals that Ukrainians prefer to keep their money in banks in their local currency, the Hryvnia. As of September 1, 2022, the total amount of individual deposits in Ukrainian banks was UAH 1.76 trillion, with UAH 1.157 trillion being in Hryvnia.
