Delhi-NCR Enforces 'No PUC, No Fuel' Rule from October 1
Starting October 1, Delhi-NCR has implemented a stringent pollution control measure, barring vehicles without a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate from refueling. This includes petrol, diesel, and CNG. The initiative uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems to identify and block non-compliant vehicles in real-time. Vehicles without a valid PUC face a penalty of ₹10,000. The move aims to curb pollution ahead of the winter season.14 sourcesSee all sources
