Poland Implements Flight Restrictions on Eastern Border
Poland has temporarily introduced a flight zone on its eastern border, effective from September 10 to December 9, 2026. The restriction, known as EP R134, covers airspace from ground level to approximately 3 km in altitude, excluding passenger aircraft. Nighttime flights are fully banned, while daytime flights require coordination and adherence to specific conditions. The measure aims to ensure state security and bolster air defense capabilities due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.15 sourcesSee all sources
