Ukraine Bans Photographing Empty Shelves
In Ukraine, particularly in Kyiv stores, taking photos or videos of empty shelves is now prohibited under threat of fines. The penalty for violating this rule is 3000 hryvnia (approximately $70). The logic behind this ban is that if the problem isn't shown, it doesn't exist. Some stores have signs warning customers that such actions are considered 'helping the enemy'.16 sourcesSee all sources
