Zelensky Changes National Security Council of Ukraine

President Zelensky signed decree No. 677/2026 updating the composition of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC). New members include Commander-in-Chief Mikhail Drapaty, Prime Minister Sergei Korecky, Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vihivsky, Minister of Economy and Environment Alexander Kravchenko, Minister of Justice Denis Maslov, First Deputy Chairman of the SBU Alexander Poklad, and Deputy Minister of Defense Yevgeny Khmara. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Sibigu was also approved. Removed from the council were Oleksandr Sirskyi, Mikhail Fedorov, Igor Klimenko, Yulia Svyrydenko, and Oleksiy Sobolev. The decree came into force on the day of publication.
