Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms Expected Across Turkey

Turkey's Meteorology Department has issued warnings for heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds across various regions. The western Marmara region, Aegean coasts, and surrounding areas of Antalya, Muğla, and Şanlıurfa are expected to experience heavy thunderstorms and rain. Dust storms originating from Syria may cause muddy rain and traffic disruptions in the Eastern Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia regions. Istanbul is under a yellow alert for severe thunderstorms and lightning, with winds reaching up to 80 kilometers per hour.
