Mass Immigration Raid in Kuala Lumpur's Pudu Road Area Nets 472 Detainees

The Kuala Lumpur Immigration Department, along with several other enforcement agencies, conducted a large-scale operation in the Pudu Road area today, inspecting approximately 2,500 foreign nationals and detaining 472 individuals for immigration offenses. The operation targeted suspected undocumented workers, with detainees ranging from 18 to 62 years old and originating from various countries. Offenses included lack of valid identification documents, overstaying, and using unrecognized documents. All detainees were sent to the Bukit Jalil Immigration Detention Camp for further investigation.
