First Adult T. rex Trackway Discovered in North Dakota

A team of paleontologists from the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and Liverpool John Moores University has discovered the first known trackway made by an adult Tyrannosaurus rex in the Hell Creek Formation of North Dakota. The trackway consists of four footprints, each about three feet long, and provides insights into the movement and behavior of this iconic predator. The tracks were discovered in 2020 and are described in a study published in the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology.
