Keto Diet Outperforms Mediterranean and Low-Fat Diets in Improving Fatty Liver and Prediabetes

A clinical trial found that the ketogenic diet achieved greater metabolic and hepatic improvements than the Mediterranean and a low-fat diet, even though all three allowed for similar weight loss in adults with obesity, prediabetes, and fatty liver.
