Iraqi Anti-Corruption Bodies Strengthen Coordination

The Federal Integrity Commission and the Kurdistan Region Integrity Commission have agreed to enhance cooperation and coordination in combating corruption and recovering stolen funds. Key aspects include intensifying preventive roles, developing mechanisms for arrest warrant implementation, and removing obstacles to cross-regional pursuit of suspects. Both commissions expressed appreciation for support from judicial, legislative, and executive authorities at federal and regional levels. They also emphasized the importance of integrating oversight roles between Baghdad and Erbil to protect public funds and combat corruption as a joint national responsibility.
