Iran, Pakistan Discuss US Non-Compliance with Memorandum of Understanding

The President of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, separately met with the Chief of the Pakistani Army, General Asim Munir. Both Iranian officials discussed cases of the United States' failure to fulfill its commitments according to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. They emphasized the need for the US to change its behavior and implement the agreement. Ghalibaf stated that the US' non-compliance has hindered regional stability and trust. Rezaei stressed Iran's management of security in the Strait of Hormuz and called for practical steps from the US.
