Ventania Causes Blackouts, Injuries, and Deaths in Rio and São Paulo
Strong winds, or ventania, have caused significant disruptions in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil. In Rio, the storm led to blackouts affecting over 400,000 people, stopped metro and ferry services, and caused injuries.
