    Delhi Government Drops Charges Against NEET Protesters

    The Delhi government has decided not to take any adverse legal action against people involved in the NEET (UG) paper leak protests at Jantar Mantar. As of 6 pm on 29th July, thirteen (13) cases had been registered by the Delhi Police in connection with the protests. The government has directed that arrests and detentions made in the case be reviewed expeditiously, with no further proceedings to be taken against the protesters, except for individuals with criminal antecedents. This decision follows the Supreme Court's directions.

    Toronto Police to Update 2006 Homicide of Patrick Santos

    Toronto police will provide an update on the 2006 homicide of 21-year-old Patrick Santos, who was found dead in his father's Scarborough home with his hands and feet bound and tape around his head.
