    P8M Debt Motivated Vlogger's Slay

    The killing of vlogger Alicia 'Mima Alicia' Lipata was motivated by an alleged P8-million debt she owed to her business partners, according to Philippine National Police (PNP) chief P/Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. Lipata was shot dead by motorcycle-riding assailants outside her home in Caloocan City on July 17. Her live-in partner was critically wounded but survived. The motive was also linked to personal disagreements between Lipata and the alleged masterminds of her murder. The gunman and the rider were arrested in Pampanga, and firearms and hand grenades were recovered.
