    United Russia Leads in Russian Parliamentary Elections with 57.54%

    United Russia, the ruling party led by President Vladimir Putin, has taken a commanding lead in Russia's parliamentary elections, according to preliminary results. With around 14% of the votes counted, United Russia secured 57.54% of the vote. This is an improvement over the 49.82% achieved in the previous election in 2021. The party is on track to easily win the election, with exit polls predicting a similar result. The Communist Party and Liberal Democratic Party of Russia are currently in second and third place respectively.
