Kennedy Center Ordered to Pay Jazz Musician $250,000 in Legal Fees
The Kennedy Center has been ordered to pay more than $250,000 in legal fees to jazz musician Chuck Redd. Redd canceled a performance at the center after its board voted to add President Donald Trump's name to the building. The center sued Redd for breach of contract but lost the case. A judge ruled that Redd was entitled to recover legal fees as the prevailing party.21 sourcesSee all sources
