KNAB Chief Jēkabs Straume Resigns
Jēkabs Straume, the head of Latvia's Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB), has resigned. His last working day was August 1, 2023. Straume, who has been heading KNAB since 2017, is retiring due to age and service length.
