The National Sports Day (NSD) 2026 celebration scheduled for October 10 has been postponed nationwide due to haze affecting the country. The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) announced the decision as a proactive and precautionary measure to avoid health risks to participants, organizers, and the public. The new event date will be announced later, subject to improvement in air quality for outdoor activities.
