An accident involving two electric scooter riders occurred in Ramat Gan, with one rider transported to the hospital in stable condition. In Nof HaGalil, an electric bicycle rider was seriously injured, and in the Jordan region, a quad bike rider was critically injured. Other incidents involved motorcycle and electric bicycle riders with varying degrees of injury.

    Girl, 11, Contracts HIV and Hepatitis C After Hospitalization for Gastrointestinal Infection

    An 11-year-old girl from Azov was hospitalized for a gastrointestinal infection and later found to have contracted HIV and hepatitis C. An investigation by Rospotrebnadzor revealed that the girl was infected while in the hospital, with her virus matching that of an adult patient in the same ward. The hospital was found to have reused single-use IV caps and forged an HIV test refusal in the girl's medical record. The family only discovered the infection 1.5 years later, leading to a criminal case being opened.

    Man Armed with Knife Fatally Shot by LA County Deputies After Stabbing Officer

    A man identified as Robert Castro was fatally shot by Los Angeles County deputies after he stabbed an officer in a Lancaster parking lot. The incident occurred on June 20 following a 911 call reporting a man swinging knives in public.
