    Sophie Woods, a 42-year-old ultra-runner from New Zealand, has broken the record for completing the Via Alpina, one of the world's toughest endurance challenges. She ran 2,000km across eight countries in just 29 days, six days faster than the previous record. Woods faced extreme conditions including storms, heatwaves, wildfires, and mosquito attacks. Despite the challenges, she persevered, running 15 to 18 hours a day and fueled by a diet of pasta, energy gels, and even McDonald's.

    Russian Synchronized Swimmers Win Gold at European Championships

    The Russian synchronized swimming team won the gold medal in the team free routine event at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris.     Romania Imports Electricity from Ukraine Amid Energy Crisis
