    Former Separatist Fighter Arrested for Killing Two Women in Moscow

    Temuraz Gogiašvili, a 47-year-old former fighter in the pro-Russian separatist Sparta battalion, has been arrested in connection with the murders of Elena Tseretele and her daughter Darina in Moscow. Gogiašvili confessed to shooting both women, with financial disagreements as the alleged motive. He dismembered Elena's body. Gogiašvili fought alongside Arsen Pavlov (Motorola) in Ukraine, later working for MIA 'Russia Today'.

    Kerala Orders Vigilance Probe Against CEC Gyanesh Kumar Over 2006 Case

    Keralam Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala ordered a Vigilance investigation into allegations involving Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, relating to irregularities during his tenure as the state’s Public Works Department Secretary in 2006. The case pertains to the death by suicide of Malaysian civil engineer Lee See Been, who was associated with the PATI-BEL consortium involved in the upgradation of MC Road under the Keralam State Transport Project. His suicide note reportedly mentioned Gyanesh Kumar. The investigation is being initiated following allegations that external pressure was exerted and the original inquiry was derailed.
