South Korea to Send Delegation to Abelardo de la Espriella's Inauguration in Colombia
South Korea will send a special delegation led by legislator Yoon Jun-byeong and Lee Hae-min to attend the inauguration of Abelardo de la Espriella as the new president of Colombia on August 7 in Cali. The delegation aims to promote bilateral friendship and cooperation, particularly in the energy field. King Felipe VI of Spain and seven Latin American presidents are also expected to attend.

China Launches 23rd Batch of Guowang Satellites, Rivalling Starlink
China launched its 23rd batch of Guowang/Xingwang low Earth orbit internet satellites from Hainan aboard an upgraded Long March 8A rocket. The launch included 9 satellites, bringing the total in orbit to 186. Guowang, a state-owned megaconstellation with around 13,000 satellites planned, is positioned as a sovereign rival to SpaceX's Starlink.
