    SoftBank to Issue Record $6.3 Billion Retail Bonds in Japan

    SoftBank Group is planning to issue up to 1 trillion yen (approximately $6.3 billion or $493 billion Hong Kong dollars) in retail bonds, setting a new record for Japanese bonds of this type. The 7-year bonds are expected to be priced on September 4, with an indicative coupon range of 4.3% to 4.9%. This is the third retail bond issuance by SoftBank this year, following previous sales of 4,180 billion yen and 2,600 billion yen in April and June respectively.
