MPs Urge HMRC to Scrutinize Tax Implications of Manchester City Case
The Treasury Committee, chaired by Dame Meg Hillier, has written to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) urging the tax authority to scrutinize the tax implications of the Manchester City case. The club was recently found guilty of 114 out of 115 financial regulation breaches by an independent commission. Hillier requested reassurance from HMRC that they are addressing the issues and acting in the public interest.23 sourcesSee all sources
