Cha Eun-woo Files Tax Appeal Against 130 Billion Won Assessment
Singer-actor Cha Eun-woo has filed an appeal against a tax assessment of over 130 billion won, claiming it was unfair. His agency confirmed the appeal, stating that he had submitted a petition to the Tax Tribunal last month. The appeal comes after Cha Eun-woo was subject to an intense tax audit due to issues with his mother's one-person planning agency, which the National Tax Service considered a shell company. Cha Eun-woo previously received a notice of 200 billion won in tax evasion in January.
