    Hawk Fire: Nevada Wildfire Threatens Homes, Thousands Evacuated

    A fast-moving wildfire, known as the Hawk Fire, has broken out northwest of Reno, Nevada, threatening approximately 1,000 homes and prompting evacuations for nearly 14,000 residents. The fire, which started on Saturday morning, has grown to over 10,500 acres with zero containment as of Sunday evening. Strong winds, low humidity, and dry vegetation have fueled the fire's rapid growth. Authorities have issued 'EVACUATE NOW' orders for several communities, including Somersett and portions of northwest Reno.
