Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Meets Andhra CM Naidu to Discuss Krishna Water Sharing
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay is scheduled to meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday to discuss water-sharing issues, particularly the supply of Krishna River water to Chennai under the Telugu Ganga Project. The meeting will focus on expediting the release of Krishna River water and discussing the Godavari-Krishna-Cauvery river-linking initiative. Climate activist G Sundarrajan has urged CM Vijay to request immediate water releases from Kandaleru and Srisailam for the Telugu Ganga project.
