    Man Survives 10,000 Volt Electric Shock in Kuzbass

    A man in Kuzbass survived a 10,000 volt electric shock, with the current passing from his head to his wrist. He was hospitalized in critical condition, suffering from facial burns, deep skin necrosis, and a risk of brain swelling. Doctors induced a coma, connected him to a ventilator, and used intensive medication therapy to aid recovery. He regained consciousness within a day and is now walking and continuing treatment for burn wounds.

    Railway Expansion Between Arakkonam and Renigunta Approved

    The Union Cabinet has approved the construction of third and fourth railway lines between Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu and Renigunta in Andhra Pradesh, a 77-km project estimated to cost ₹10,021 crore. This project aims to add capacity to the rail corridor serving Tirupati, strengthen connectivity to Tirupati and the Rayalaseema region, ease congestion, and boost tourism, trade, and logistics. The project is part of five multi-tracking works that will add about 540km of railway capacity across AP, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana.
