    India Tests First Fully Domestic AK-203 Rifle

    India has successfully conducted factory tests on the first AK-203 assault rifle fully assembled using domestically produced components. The tests were carried out at the Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited (IRRPL), a joint venture between India and Russia. The AK-203 is a variant of the Kalashnikov series chambered in 7.62×39 mm and is part of India's efforts to expand its domestic weapons production capabilities.
