Japan Expands Sanctions Against Russia
Japan has expanded its sanctions against Russia, targeting 33 organizations, nine individuals, and 35 ships. The move comes in response to Russia's aggression against Ukraine and follows a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the disputed Kuril Islands. The sanctions list includes prominent figures in Russia's military-industrial complex and key companies such as 'Voentorg', 'VNIIR-Progress', 'Alabuga Machinery', and 'Uralvagonzavod'. Japan aims to coordinate these sanctions with European countries and strike at Russia's oil trade.33 sourcesSee all sources
