Branko Ružić Resigns After SPS Expulsion
Branko Ružić has resigned from his position as an MP in the Serbian Parliament following his expulsion from the SPS party. He announced his resignation via Instagram, citing collegiality and dignity. In his resignation letter, he referenced Article 132 of the Law on the Election of National Assembly Representatives and Article 198 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly. The SPS had previously decided to expel Ružić due to his repeated criticism of the party and government, and his failure to comply with party decisions.
