Peru and Colombia Agree to Reappoint Ambassadors; Strengthen Bilateral Relations
Peruvian Foreign Minister Carlos Espá announced that Peru and Colombia have agreed to reappoint ambassadors after more than three years, aiming to resume and strengthen bilateral relations. This decision was made during Espá's participation in the inauguration ceremony of Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella in Cali. Both countries plan to work together on security, trade, and regional integration through the Pacific Alliance and the Andean Community of Nations. The agreement to reappoint ambassadors will facilitate direct communication between the governments and allow progress on commitments related to these areas.7 sourcesSee all sources
