Patriots Sign Veteran RB Haskins, Waive Rookie Montgomery
The New England Patriots have signed veteran running back Hassan Haskins and waived rookie Myles Montgomery ahead of their preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts. Haskins, a 44-game veteran, joins a crowded backfield led by Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson. Montgomery, an undrafted free agent, was waived with an injury designation.
